Sherwood Community Centre Nottingham

Welcome to Sherwood Community Centre Web Site

We have been open since 1949 and since then have prided ourselves in giving the wider community social and enjoyable clubs and activities and to give them opportunities to improve their lifestyle and friendships within the community.
Woodthorpe House is a house which is over 200 years old house with additions. During the war the canteen was built on the site of the former loggia. The courtyard by the stables was roofed over to form the youth club in 1977 but now houses dancing classes. The hall was built in 1979 and a link, including new toilets, a foyer and coffee bar was built between the two buildings in 1983. The Community Association moved in during 1949 and formally opened in 1950.
